I have been researching Deepseek every single day since it came out and I have been looking for some drawbacks, and guess what I found

substantially speaking,

a whole lot of

Nothing.

Every single metric you can possibly think of, every single drawback that your mind can conjure up, every single thing you can want from an LLM, it just, delivers.

Now don’t get me wrong, I know it was trained on Data from OpenAI but come on, is OpenAI really going to bring up the copyright law at this moment?

After they quite literally stole from artists, writers, musicians and researchers from all across the world, blatantly so.

Yes, it isn’t as fast as ChatGPT but the difference is extremely minute and frankly nobody cares.

However, it has a long way to go

It is only my personal experience but I have found Deepseek not that reliable and that’s simply because they lack the infrastructure that is needed to support an LLM of this size.

I have multiple times run into a server crash error.
